This etching is one of a series created in response to Ian McEwan's novel 'The Cement Garden'. A dark tale, in which three young siblings are orphaned in unusual circumstances. The etchings were created in an attempt invoke the atmosphere of the book which is sombre and deals with lost innocence and yet also the strange resilience of children.  Paper size 46 cm (h) x 52 cm (w).  Image size 20 cm (h) x 30 cm (w).
